Trip Itinerary

Day 1 – Saturday, May 3 Arrival


Note: The flights from the US are overnight. Book your flight on Friday, May 2nd to arrive in ​Amsterdam on May 3.


  • Arrive at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS)
  • Private transfer to your hotel in Amsterdam
  • Join the us at a local restaurant where you will meet your group for welcome drinks and dinner


Day 2 – Sunday, May 4


  • Visit the renowned Rijksmuseum, home to masterpieces by Dutch artists like Rembrandt and ​Vermeer.
  • Continue to the Van Gogh Museum to admire the largest collection of Vincent Van Gogh’s works.
  • Stroll through Museumplein, enjoying the green space and artistic ambiance.


Day 3 – Monday, May 5


  • Take a walking tour focusing on Amsterdam’s distinctive architecture, including the UNESCO-​listed Canal Ring.
  • Free afternoon to explore on your own
  • Dine at a rooftop restaurant, enjoying panoramic views of the city.


Day 4 – Tuesday, May 6


  • Discover Zaanse Schans, where iconic windmills and traditional Dutch houses create a ​picturesque setting. Learn about traditional crafts and visit working mills.
  • Continue to the fishing village of Volendam, known for its colorful wooden houses and vibrant ​harbor. Savor fresh seafood and explore local shops.


Day 5 – Wednesday, May 7


  • Day trip to Keukenhof Gardens, also known as the "Garden of Europe."
  • In the afternoon, return to Amsterdam and do some shopping in the Nine Streets, a district ​known for its independent boutiques and vintage stores.


Day 6 – Thursday, May 8


  • Step back in time at the Anne Frank House, learning about her poignant story and the history of ​WWII.
  • Free afternoon to explore on your own
  • Enjoy a traditional Dutch dinner and a stroll through the historic Red Light District.


Day 7 – Friday, May 9


  • Experience Amsterdam from the water with a guided kayaking tour through its iconic canals.
  • Visit the Heineken Experience or a local brewery for an interactive tour and tasting session.
  • Spend your last evening enjoying a concert or theater performance at a prestigious venue like ​the Concertgebouw.


Day 8 – Saturday, May 10


  • Leisurely breakfast and final shopping or sightseeing.
  • Transfer to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport for departure.

  • Traveler must make a NONREFUNDABLE deposit ​payment of $400 per person at time of registration to ​secure their spot.
  • Monthly minimum payment of $400 or more is ​required on the first of every month until paid in full ​to keep your reservations current.
  • Full Payment is due by March 3, 2025
  • Traveling to the Madrid, Spain requires a passport ​valid for six months beyond your travel dates. Please ​take a look at your passport right now to be sure it ​does not expire on or before November, 2 2024.
  • Refunds will not be provided for expired passports.
  • Travel documents, itineraries and travel instructions ​will be sent via email 30 days or earlier prior to travel.
  • The flights from the US are overnight. Book your ​flight on Friday, May 2 to arrive in Amsterdam on ​May 3rd.
  • All payments to 3 Little Birds Travel, LLC or our ​vendors are non-refundable and non-transferable.
